Our Adorable Little Sunbeams :)

We are so blessed! Heavenly Father loves us :) We were called as the Sunbeam teachers in the BYU Idaho 75th ward. The primary consists of only two sunbeams, which means that there is only one teacher. We thought for sure that calling had been assigned long before. So you can imagine our surprise when we walked into the room with the first councelor in the bishopric and he said, "We would like you to serve as sunbeam teachers." I don't think we ever said yes technically. But our very enthusiastic smiles and our ecstatic high 5 said it for us :) Since then, we have been so happy learning from Emma and Kyla. They are two of Heavenly Father's sweetest children.

And here they are; Emma on the left, Kyla on the right

For Christmas, we wanted to have a special lesson to really bring home to them the story of Christ's birth. So we made (from our chocolate molds that Scott ordered for me) a playdoh nativity. They absolutely loved them!

This is them putting up the nativity. They got to put a piece up as we talked about each character that knew and watched for the Savior's birth.

When we got to the part about the shepherds, Emma and Kyla really got into it! We dressed them up as shepherds and put them to sleep in their fields. We told them that when the angel came, they were scared, and then comforted when the angel said, "fear not." So I got up on a chair and woke the shepherds up as an angel. Their little scared faces were so cute! When I asked them if they were going to stay in their fields or go find Jesus, they answered with enthusiasm, "We'll go find Jesus!"

As part of our lesson they got to make these cutsie little baby Jesus ornaments. They loved them! We only had wood glue to use, and they thought that was pretty smelly. It was so cute!

And here's our class picture :) We love these sweet, precious little girls!
This is our little girlie's favorite song :) They absolutely love this song, and sing it for us every week :)
