Oh yeah, we're married!!!!!!

Sorry for taking so long to get this up! It has been one heck of a crazy month! So we got married, and here is the story haha. We drove up to my parent's house the Tuesday before the wedding, which was on a Friday. We had so much fun driving up, and we read a great majority of "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. It was great to be able to read so that we weren't bored, and it kept Scott awake, who drove the whole way! We figured if we could handle eight hours in the car, we could be married for eternity :P It was amazing to see all my siblings again! Ryan ran and jumped on me and wrapped his arms and legs around me and said, "Man, I forgotted how good it was to monkey hug you!" And then when I asked Levi for a hug and kiss he just looked at me weird and said, "Don't you know, I'm too big for that now." It didn't sway him that Ryan had just run across the yard and hugged and kissed me and told me how much he loved me. Ah, the three year old stage :) My mom was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, trying to get everything done. We put together center pieces like crazy and called it good for the night, knowing the real work was to come on Wednesday :S

This was where we stopped to go to the bathroom :) I thought it was kinda a pretty little place.

Wednesday, we woke up early and Scott and I did Pilates with my mom. Scott still holds a tiny grudge for that I think :) But hey, I needed those abs! My mom kicked my keister! She's so amazing. In all the time that we were there trying to get a wedding together, she and my dad still found time to do their Insanity work out. And I promise, it definitely got its name for a reason. My parents are ripped! But that's besides the point :D We were waiting for Scott's mom's cake stuff to show up in the mail, and it didn't, so Scott and I frantically set off to get stuff to replace it all. It was crazy hard work, but we finally got everything together, making sure that we could return it if it was the wrong stuff. Scott's parents and brother Randy got to Spokane Wednesday night and came and met my family. Evelyn began making the cake. Levi watched with fascination and then very shyly asked to lick the beater haha. So Levi. We went to bed late that night, with much more work waiting for us Thursday.

Thursday, Evelyn and the Carter boys showed up early to make the cake. Randy got to help Shane haul wedding stuff to the church, and Scott and I helped his mom with the cake. She did SUCH an amazing job! It was exactly what we wanted! We experimented with my hair. As always, my mother put it up in hot curlers, which always makes me nervous (the picture below should explain EVERYTHING). But I was pleasantly surprised at how the whole thing turned out in the end. I loved it! My aunt Rachel came over and started work on the flowers. She spent hours shopping for them. In fact, she didn't leave our house until close to 10 PM I think. Thanks Rach! After running around crazy all day, I jumped in the shower for the Endowment session. Being in the temple was such an amazing experience. It was so great to learn more about my Savior and to be taught by Him with all the people that love me with me. Scott's siblings from Rexburg and Pocatello were able to come, and my Grandma Lee and her husband JA also came! They reported to the MTC only a few days after our wedding. We greatly appreciated their company. I could also feel very strongly the presence of my G-pa Jenks and Grandpa Lee. Families truly are forever, and I was so excited to be able to start my journey to an eternal family with Scott the next day. After the session we headed to help with the reception, and then Scott headed to his parent's hotel to sleep our last night single with his family.

After we found the winning hair-do (Which, YAY to mom, it was the first one!)

Friday was the big day. To be honest, I don't remember a ton about the wedding. I remember feeling so happy and excited and humble. As I promised to love and cherish Scott for eternity, I looked into his eyes and really realized the reality of our dreams of an eternal family. It was SUCH an amazing experience. The reception was amazing, it was so nice to see all the people who came! We stood in line the whole 2 hours, and enjoyed every minute of it! It was so special to me to be reminded of those who love me and my family and their willingness to serve and love. I truly did grow up in the best stake in the world! It was so amazing to see my Uncle Ward and Aunt Carol, who came all the way from the Seattle area just to see us! Oh, and Kasey, who drove all night one night so that he could make it. I love you guys! OH! And my Aunt Lynette took our pictures, and they were amazing! Thanks Lynette! We absolutely LOVE them! And then it was off to our honeymoon in a cabin on Twin Lakes near Couer d' Alene. And that was it, we were married! And let me tell you, we are enjoying it to the fullest!

Haha, he was pulling my veil so I couldn't move my head forward!

I make this look WAY easier than it is :)

LOVE this pic Lynnette!

Scott blew this one up to a 16x20 one day while I was at work. I was SO happy to see it hanging on our wall when I got home! Aww, he loves me!
Linley did all my bridesmaids' toes. Mine are the white ones :)
I just thought this pic was way too cute not to put in! I love you guys! (Mom, show them this :)

The whole crew! That's alot of people!

I told you the cake was beautiful! Good job Momma-C!

Ryan was sooooo sweet! He kept coming and carrying my dress for me. I love that boy!

Our first married dance! Well, we snuck one in to test the sound system before the reception, but this was the first official one!
A fire we had on our honeymoon. We had a firepit! How cool is that?
By the fire...wow, I look gross! lol

Our own private lake front. It had a porch swing, and we enjoyed it!

And here's our little cabin. It was so hard to leave!
This is what we got home to! It was amazing to see how many people love and support my family. I know I already said that, but I really do appreciate it. Thank you all!

And I have to keep you caught up on my cookin! I was planning on making rice and beans when I got home from work, and so my husband (EEEEE!!!!!) made this little creating for me :)
Spaghetti (not impressed yet?), breaded chicken (that's the impressive part lol), and spicy green beans...for once I didn't make Scott eat the veggie. Those were NASTY!

And, finally, I am done with this blog post!!!! So now you know, we're married. I love my husband so much, and am so grateful that I get to keep him for forever :)
